stock spoiler installation??
Anyone have instructions on the stock spoiler? I checked the service manual and searched. Also, are there any templates I can download and print or something? and how do I make sure the size doesn't change when it prints and it is still "actual size"?
Thanks in advance.

I had the templates broken down into four 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. They didnt line up very well. I had better luck parking next to another fd and eyeballing it. I lined the rear outside edge of the spoiler slightly to the inside of the outside edge of the hatch. Line up the outside rear edge and then slide the spoiler left and right a bit and it almost lines itself up to the curve in the hatch. I got my spoiler from a junk yard so it had a slight arch to it. I traced the edges of the spoiler with a piece of soap and them measured to find the hole location. I had to drill through the sheet metal from above. I had to route out a few support braces from below to gain access to the screw holes. It rests on some foam pads which also provide resistance for the screws. I had the parts list but luckily my spoilers pads were intact. Good luck.

thanks for the info. I did eventually find instructions. I got some templates like yours, doubting they will be exact. I have a Mazda accessories brochure with a close picure of the corder and you can see how close to the edges it is.
