a week ago my rear speakers of my stock bose system in my FD started making a constant rapid thumping sound when the stereo was on, i took out the rear speakers and its fixed. I just want to know if i need to replace the rear speakers or amp. What do u guys think?

There's no rear speakers in the bose system, unless you mean the acoustiwave thingy.

Does the speaker looked damaged in any way? Tears in the cone or surround?

Way better, since it's possible someone added actual rear speakers to the bose system, in which case I'd have no idea how to help you. Check the amp, those are known to go. Does it clip out at higher volumes? or it's a constant thing. Do you hear a sound at volume=0? if so, amp, guarenteed.

Probably, but I've never owned the bose system (or any stock system for that matter). If it's labeled "Clarion" or "Bose" that's probably it.
