stereo(yea i read the stickys)

I just pulled the factory clarion outta my 88 rx7GXL and put my new cd player in with a wiring harness from circuit city and there's no sound!? On the sticky it says the the LG/B wire is to turn the amp relay on but on my 7 the LG/B goes into one of the speaker harnesses and is set up for one of the speakers? I really need to figure this out soon because this is my DD

Thanks guys,
Brett

You have to bypass the factory amps or else the speakers won't work. 1 amp in each rear strut tower and the front speaker amp is under the passenger side dash.

There actually was a harness behind the stereo with 1 wire that was white with a red dot on it and i just wired that to the remote and bam it sounds pretty good (some speakers are already blown) So i guess i'll just leave it at that until i get my new speakers thanks though

the factory amps suck, youd be better off bypassing them completely. I did, its pretty easy, I just ran all new speaker leads to the speakers from the head unit.
