Stereo wires?

ok....i recently took out my stock 1986 RX-7 stereo out...and now i want to put in an aftermarket cd player...now....i was wondering if u guys/gals could tell me which wires were what on my car. the plugs are taken off cause a friend thought that he knew what was what so now all i have is the wires. please...any help would be greatful.

Just get a stereo harness and match the wires up by color.

Look up Auto-Audio in your yellow pages, or any place that sells car audio ****. I picked one up for a different car at HH Gregg today. Best Buy should also have them. Circuit City and even some walmarts carry them.

You can pick one up from any car stereo store or chain. Or if you're lazy, you can just order one from Crutchfield. They cost about $20.

If you have an FC, check the auto parts stores for a wiring harness made by Metra Roadworks. The part number is AW-WHMZ1. I found mine at Autozone.
