Stereo mounting bracket for FD3S? Stereo recommendations?
Hi guys, I have a couple questions and would like some advice. When I purchased my FD the previous owner had installed an Alpine DOUBLE DIN touch screen head unit in the car.. The LCD screen on this head unit went out and now I am seeking a single din head unit for my car. Since the car had a double din in it before, I no longer have the center piece that normally would secure a din pocket or single din radio as the previous owner had cut it out. Now I just have a gaping hole where my radio was supposed to be (no slots). Since I am in the market for a single din radio I was wondering what my options were to secure the radio.
I am also in the market for a nice single din stereo for my car. I will be using the stereo to power the door and rear speakers of the car only, no amp nor sub woofer. I was wondering what brand radio you guys would recommend. I would like something with AUX and red back lighting so it matches the gauge cluster lights.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I put a Nakamiche cd400 in an fc and it sounds spectacular. The cd500 has aux. I think and the lighting would be close. It has it's own amp but I used a JL amp. JLC5 peakers components in front and coaxials in back. I read the integrated amp is great.
In my fd I have the stock radio and cd player run with a lower end JL amp and speakers. Sounds at least 40% better than pure stock. Sent the cd player to a repair shop and they made it bulletproof as long as you remove the cd before shutting it down.
