stereo install

question. i am wanting to get rid of all the bose speakers and the head unit and put in a alpine cd player. what all is there to it. is it a matter of running new door speakers buying a wiring harness and plugging it in or with the bose do i have to buy some expensive adaptor before i can plug a alpine cd player into the power source. if i need some adaptor how much and where do i get it.

You just need to get an adapter harness to plug into the stock harness. The wires come color coded and labeled. You just need to attach this harness to the harness supplied with the radio. Most people use butt connectors to mate the harnesses. You can probably find this harness at Pep Boys or, your local stereo shop should have it or can get it.
