CO Bose Wave Music System

I just talked with Bose at 1-800-231-2673 about ordering 2 replacement amps for my 93 FD. They said the amps are $75.00 each + shipping ect. I called the dealer about the whole assy FD1066960B Duct Spk w/Amp. They want $863.00 I just bought a new one from BOSE for $216.32 Thats 2 amps and 2 speakers

hate to break your sushine up but theres a company in SF that refurbishes them and sells them for wayyyy cheaper..

I redid 4 bose amps for my Maxima for $16. Just capacitors and stuff.

Well crap...which shop is this? I've been using www.carstereohelp.com, and they charge like $80 per amp!

Where is the amp?

So is there one amp for all speakers or one amp per speaker?

I believe there are 5 total amps...one in each door, one for the center channel, and two in the subwoofer tube.

Ordered on 3/10/08 received on 3/14/08 WOO WHAT GREAT SOUND I HAVE NOW.
if anybody needs just the 2 speakers my 0ld ones were ok. If you need just the speakers contact neuroj@comcast.net $25.00 each
