Spoiler, Wing, or Nothing? What do You Like?
It seems polls like the sleek headlights vs. popup headlights and the jdm taillights vs painted oem taillights start good discussions... so what do you guys think of the spoilers?
Do you like the oem spoiler? the 99 spec spoiler? a wing? a clean no spoiler look?
Personally I would have to go for the no spoiler look I think it makes the fd look so clean.

i think it totally depends on the body kit. I love the 99 spec wing (but who doesnt). If i had to choose a favorite for "larger"wings, i purchased a veilside CF GT wing at one point (one from fast and the furious) and i still love it. Currently, i am planning on a no wing with my C-west body kit. I think it looks alot more classy and more traditional sports car. thats the current mood im in.
I love the supras without wings. Their hatch has that sick little lip built into it, i wish we could simulate something like that on the 7.

Tony Yeh(rxecret7) had a wing very similar to that if not the same kind on his car but it wasn't on his car at sevenstock. He must have taken it off. I know the Top Fuel wing looks similar to that and since that car has the rest of the Top Fuel kit I suspect the wing is too. But seeing as that kit is very rare, I can't be certain. If it is made by Top Fuel then you can bet almost 100% it's discontinued. Top Fuel had a N/A 3 rotor black FD a couple years ago but not sure what's become of them.
Maybe leave the guy a message asking him about the wing?(He seems to speak/write pretty good english, almost too good infact)
Or maybe contact Jesse Lau(might know) or Jason at JT Imp.
There are ways of finding out but like I said the only wing I ever seen that looks like that is Top Fuel.

Second, already tried messaging him. no luck.
Im having some guys in japan do some searching on the car, if he is american (military) they might be able to locate him.

Black99 is correct... it is the Top Fuel spoiler. I had email'd Tony a while back on behalf of some other forum member who was interested in that wing. Here was Tony's response (which also explains why it was on his car @ SS6:
"HI unfortunallty that wing I believe has been discontinued and Tony have
already sold the wing to someone else. The company who made it is call TOP
FUEL, the ROTARY COMPANY not the HONDA company. They made that kit which
makes the RX7 look like a Dodge Viper"
