The speakers are different, but are the decks?

Im looking at replacing my deck back to OEM with the correct BOSE setup. My car is a touring with the BOSE, and it says BOSE on the cassette player (cd player is aftermarket). The deck im looking at buying is from a touring but it doesnt say BOSE on it. Because of this both me and the seller are a bit confused, trying to figure out if all the decks were the same from 93-95 or if the BOSE were different.

I know the speakers/amps are not the same but is that it?

Are you looking at buying a whole deck or just the CD player? The CD player does not say Bose on it. If I'm not mistaken the CD unit is a clarion.

All the CD decks are interchangeable. The Radio/Tape decks are different because that is where the Bose circuitry is contained. If you put a non-bose radio in a car with Bose amps, you could potentially burn either the head unit and/or the amps.
