Speaker sizes 1987 N/A?

Could somebody please tell me the speaker sizes that would have been on a stock 1987 N/A base model? I would like to get some new speakers, since the stock ones are finally crapping out. Thanks

well. Some places will advise you they are 5 1/4 in the rear.. but you can DEF put some 6.5s in the towars.. Also, i put 5 1/4's in my dash. You just have to do some modification to fit them in. But it is worth it. Much better sound. Most 4 inch speakers, even good ones just dont work as well. If best buy or any other place trys to tell you any different tell them they are dumb, and take your money elsewhere. They tried it with me.

actually, when i went to best buy the guys DID have a database that had all the car speaker specs in there, but the info was wrong. So the info is not always correct.
