As far as an upgraded rear strut tower bar for mounting a harness and keeping the rear divider, that depends on the strut bar. I believe M2's rear strut bar allows the rear divider to still be used.

The Rotary Extreme bar works with both the divider AND the hatch cover. However, it still uses the OEM shock mount portions -- ie, it's just a beefier bar. This may be fine, I wish someone knowledgable in this area would compare the M2 and the RE harness bars.
For those looking for a street-use seat that offers more support than the stockers, I continue to recommend the Corbeau CR-1. The seat is comfortable but very supportive, is half the weight of the stock seats, only costs $400/seat in cloth, and comes with FD-specific brackets.
As far as fitment goes, it's the shoulder wings that typically present the problem, not the seat base.
4-point harness: shoulder straps to harness bar, lap belts can use stock seatbelt bolts or make your own holes.
