Sound system wiring questions. Need HELP ASAP!

Hey guys.. I'm in the middle of installing a custom sound system and I hit a few snags.

1995 FD (not the bose system)

1) First of all, I removed the antenna completely. After doing so, I cannot get any sound from the speakers. Did the antenna removal cut a circuit that needs to be maintained? Which wires on the antenna harness should I solder together?

2) I am currently swapping out the rear and door speakers, but I'm leaving the stock head-unit for now. I cannot tell which wires on the back of the stock speakers are negative and positive.. I'm looking at the "back right" where one wire is BLUE w/ YELLOW stripe and the other is WHITE with BLUE stripe ( would guess blue with yellow is positive?). Since the antenna removal I can't get voltage so my voltage tester isn't helping. Can anyone confirm which wires are posittive for each of the 4 speakers?

The harness I bought with my aftermarket head-unit describes colors that don't match what I see at the speakers. Probably because they change colors from the cd player to the speakers.

I've got this all apart and trying to get these four speakers in tonight... Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

If you could only remember one of the 4 speaker's wire colors, I could figure the rest out by configuration.

Here is the REAR DRIVER SIDE speaker...

Which is positive please?

Here is the REAR PASSENGER SIDE speaker.. Anyone? I was thinking blue would be positive and then I'd assume the orientation is the same on the other speakers. However, I would like to verify before I solder and reinstall..

And here is the harness off the antenna. Since I pulled this, I cannot even get static out of my speakers. Did I just blow a fuse, or do I need to do something else with these wires???

Don't have 1995 info. But here is info from 1994 Mazda Body Electrical manual, page J1-11 (Type-1 non-Bose system).
Left rear spkr: Y/G= +; Y/L= -
Right rear spkr: W/L= +; L/Y= -
Left door: G= +; L= -
Right door: R= +; W= -
(L = Blue)

From reading the 1994 schematic, I don't see how the antenna connection could disable the speakers. Try plugging the antenna unit back in temporarily to eliminate that suspicion.

hah thanks! I have no idea what was going on with the radio not working, but I got it working again and I'm not sure what was wrong (nothing to do with antenna)..

Also, from your info: I connected my rear speakers incorrectly so I need to go in and swap the wires.
