Hey guys,

This has probably touched on a heap but cant seem to find any pictures or anything.

But does anyone have pictures of FD3S sub installs in the boot.
I currently have a 12inch in there in just a standard box but Im looking at making something to fit in the tire well so I have "some" room in the boot.

Any pictures, diagrams, comments, love would be great

 

I did it a while back. I ended up cutting out the spare tire tie down mount and flattened out the bottom of the well. Then using MDF created a 1" high parimeter around the edges of the well (from the top) to give me a little more depth and filled in the whole thing with fiberglass. Finally covered the top with a piece of MDF and created a false floor around the box to fill out the rest of the trunk.

My car is now seeing more track duty so I just tore it all out and am in the process of making a removable box with a smaller sub.
