I purchased a sony headunit from circuit city the other night and tried to install it in my 93. Along with the headunit I bought the universal adapter specifically for 90-up mazdas. Everything fit together fine, but when I powered it up I got nothing and the antenna went up. This is on a touring model with the bose (clarion) tape/cd player so I figure the wiring is probably not standard.

My question is, does anybody know if circuit city has the correct harness (or maybe crutchfield), or should I just rewire it myself? If so, does anybody have a color code for the stock wires?

 

Alright, so I just noticed the sticky thread which has the wiring diagrams, so I don't need that anymore. I guess my only remaining question is whether there is a plug-and-play way to hook up to the bose system or not?
