Some pics of the RPG Drift Car

The car will be debuting at Formula D Sonoma Event in July. The wheels on the car are just loaners to roll around in. The car will have DEEP RACING wheels (a SSR Brand) The car is being built and tuned by Rotary Power. Grip Video is providing the driver is Ross Petty, from Hawaii. http://www.gripvideo.com/Ross/RossPetty.mp4

The graphics are reminiscent of a Japanese Theater Mask. We had to do something that would stand out, and we found something that matched our driver's personality.

here's some action pics from Round 3 of Formula D. We didn't qualify, but it's ok it was our test and tune. the motor was built & tuned by rotary power in 6 days. Were installing a hydraulic e brake and changing out to a new tranny now. we'll be competitive for round 4 in august.

Yeah, not my taste exactly, but still looks a whole lot better then the previous pic. I was there at Formula D, and it was awesome seeing the car compete. It looked and sounded awesome. It was really cool seeing ross catch some air in that car.

I'm gonna try to make it to round 4, but i hope you guys get the car tuned up and ready to qualify. Good luck.

Before you go saying moronic things about a nicely rebuilt car, maybe I should refresh your memory on what Vin's car looks like.

Only the rims and the Veilside name are the only things identical.

We ran the stiffest setting in the front, and with the tire pressure at normal PSI. The rear setting has the hardest setting as well with 10 pound more of tire pressure.

The wing is VeilSide GT3RSX.

It was the first time in the car for the driver, he adjusted pretty quick, but it's completly different than his 180sx.
We modified the E Brake to move it closer to the driver and thats the most unusual mod on the car for new...

$8K? Sounds like they seriously ported your posterior!

Or did that come with a daily driver too?
