Side Mirrors on fenders...(fd3s)

Cant decided if I want to buy them or not. Anyone have any pics besides this one or the ones on their new widebody kit.

just curious if anyone has these on a less modified car. Also do you need widebody fenders to fit these?

I love the old-school look. But it's gotta flow w/ the rest of the car. I've considered doing it on the FB (I dunno if I'm gonna be able to see ANYTHING outta them tho haha)

I read in a post that it actually improves it a little bit, because you can keep looking straight at the road, but yet still see the mirror...

IMO it looks terrible on newer cars such as the fd. Classic cars are another story...

I was referring to whether I could make out details in a mirror THAT far from where I'm at. I'm speculating tho... and OMG the FB mirrors are TINY.

Yah, you gotta be able to determine if that thing on the roof of the car behind you is a roof rack or a light bar.

You dont need a wide body to run them.

I always liked them, gives a very GP racing look -- although few cars can pull it off I feel the FD does a pretty good job. I love the old Celicas and such with their fender mirrors

I agree. The stock mirrors on the FD have a fine shape as is.

Problem here is you're more suseptable (sp) to annoying glare and reflections from setting suns and headlights since it is more in your line of sight.
