Shine street diffuser and sumped gas tank

I need to know how much clearance there is between the bottom of the gas tank and the diffuser. I'm sumping my tank and want to leave enough room to fit a diffuser in the future.

I don't think there is room...just sold my diffuser. My filter is in the way.
