Shift Boots and Convertible Interior Covers

Shift Boots and Convertible Interior Covers
Well, it looks like the shift boot problem is finally getting some attention and the enthusiast is finally getting some competition in this field.
Though I have refrained from advertising my shift boots in this particular arena in deferrence to the other seller , I do want to find out if there is any interest on the part of convertible owners in regard to interior covers.
I've got one sample of an older one that is no longer made. My plan is to produce them with Sunbrella Fabric, a registered trademark, which is generally used to make covers for boats and such. You may be familiar with it in blue, but it comes in most other colors. This is beautiful stuff, but also not the cheapest. Depending on how much interest I can get, the price of the material does go down. Right now, its at about $17.00 a square yard. You need about 3-4 square yards for the interior plus the velcro, stretch material and trim which is negligible.
These covers fit over the windshield and all the way back to the back of the convertible top. They are used when the top is down, and you don't want to put it up, but you do want to cover the interior. Maybe you have your boot on and don't want to take it off. This thing covers the entire interior. Does not involve drilling or snaps.
Email me or PM me for a picture. I can't bring up my pictures here.

Mike,
I've heard that too and having had a variety of convertibles, its a question of whether its exposed to weather and if it gets wet, a point that this cover takes care of to an extent. If it gets wet, you want to dry out the top. If it stays down for years, yeah, I can see the material getting dryrot or something. That doesn't happen too often though.
This cover is really meant for when the top is down for the day or week, you have the tonneau on and don't want to put all that stuff away. Then you put this interior cover on and it protects the windshield, interior and tonneau. It is not theftproof for interior valuable, but what convertible really is?
