pumpkin king have you given consideration to the fact if that's something you want to do the inconvenience of having to crawl through your trunk to open the door if the battery dies. I admit to see a car totally shaved looks bad *** but I've got a friend that shaved his doors on his car and when the battery's died in the past it was a pain to crawl through. Just my .02

I can definitely understand shaving door handles on most cars, but an FD is not one of them. Our handles were put in a place which makes them indescrete, and people love them. I love having someone get in my car who has never done it and ask where the door handles are. I think the car would look the same shaved or with them.
Just my opinion

Me too. Both of my door handles broke and I would always look like a fool crawling into the car through the trunk at school.

As for the door handles, I agree with Touring FD3S. They look fine the way they are, yet really stand out from the norm that is other vehicles. However, they do often cause trouble...

ya, its a pretty dumb idea. on any other car maybe, but it will look the damn same. people wouldnet even know the difference, and you would have the inconvience.

Dont know why you would want to change the door handles they are some of the cleanest stock handles ever. Except for whats on ferraris and stuff like that. All I would do is just put maybe the feed carbon fiber handles on and leave it at that cause they look so good.

Shave = Remove
On cars with handles in the door it can look pretty cool if you remove the door handles and fill in the hole for a smooth look.
For an FD it's sort of redundant, but people like different things.

Shaving a handle serves one purpose and that would aerodynamics. None of us are ever going to reach speeds at which this is even relevant. Have fun and let me know how much bondo you used.

i agree with most that its more for cars with handles on the lower part of the door. with the fd, i wouldn't do it. but what i think would be the coolest is what the TVR's have done. a little button on the underside of the side-view mirror, pops them open. very indescreet, and if your battery dies, no big deal. i'm just wondering where the keyhole is...hrmmmm, off to tvr.uk..........
