Seats...Upkeep Questions
I recently purchased a second set of stock FD leather seats from a friend since my driver's seat is torn up (it .was. leather). i have the idea to put it in this weekend. anyone have any tips? i hope stock seat to stock seat is pretty self-explainable.
also when i get the seat out i wanted to have the set of seats custom upholstered in suede. anyone recommend a shop in fl. I live in orlando but i can do any kind of reasonable distance.
and then my next dilema is how do you take care of suede? i was hooked on suede seats when i saw the millenium edition millenia had them.

hopefully this idea doesnt go sour, otherwise i may get some cloth seats, leather in florida is becoming too hot when i'm driving around in a mini skirt!!

if its a actual replacement of the seat covers, than you will need hog rings and hog ring pliers.
If your drivers side cushion is sagging, its also a good time to replace the cushion. You should be able to do it yourself. It doesn't seem that hard but time consuming. For the cost of the rings and pliers, I found a place in Dallas, TX that did the whole thing for me for $50 or so.
Good luck.
