Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has modified their Rx7 with the scissor door hinges? If so where did you purchase them from? Were they easy to install? Are they reliable? Do they restrict your access more or less getting in and out of the car? How much do they cost?

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated. My Rx7 is a Series 8 2000 model.

I installed the GT Factory hinges, they're are universal and therefore must be welded on. I chose this kit because I wanted the doors to open a full 90 degrees and stand up straight. Shocks are included, and the quality of the hinges is top notch. You will have to lengthen your door wiring for the new range of motion.
