satellite antenna mounting

I have an 89 gxl and want to install my Sirius tuner in the car, but I am having trouble figuring out where to mount the antenna. The car has a sun roof and if I install it anywhere behind it I believe that it will interfere with the sunroof operation as well as block the satellite signal. Also there is not enough room to mount it in front of the sunroof. does anyone have any suggestions or experience with issue because i need some advice.

I decided to go ahead a try mounting it behind the sunroof and it worked out great. The sunroof did not hit the antenna when it was all the way back, but as expected it does cover the antenna so no satellite radio will be playing while the sunroof is open.

You should put it between the defroster vents on the dash. Take the little square piece off and run the wire that way.
