This reminds me of that thread not too long ago where someone was complaining about all the FC guys asking "Will X fit into my car?"

Well there is a difference, im not asking if a mustang interior will fit in or something stupid, im asking since these are very similar cars whether or not it would fit. The na vs tii thing may or may not make a difference i dont know, this is why i asked, the s4 vs s5 thing may or may not make a difference, this is also why i asked. Thats like asking if a carbuerated 305 from an 83 camaro could replace a fuel injected 305 from an 87, and yes it would, similar yet they have their differences. Forums were made for people to ask their questions and for people who have previously tried this to provide help and answer questions, so, i had a question, thought that most likely someone has tried this before and maybe i could find that person and they could tell me whether or not it works so i dont go and waste a bunch of money. Then you have people that get on here and instead of trying to educate the "newbs" they slam on them and make fun of them. Well these new people are the future rx7 enthusiasts so maybe you should try to pass on your knowledge to help the new people create something nice of their rx7 so that maybe the car will never die. Instead people make fun of the future rx7 enthusiasts which makes them afraid to ask more questions, in which case they will waste a ton of money trying to fix their cars and will eventually end the rx7 legacy some people started and others destroyed. If you truly loved your 7 you would try to keep the 7s going strong forever

Your going to have problems with the S5 A-pillars and the B-pillar sailpanels.

The S5 A-pillar trim clips to the mousebelt tracks, which you don't have.
The S5 sailpanels have a few of the mount tabs at different elevations than the S4 manual belt panels.

It may be possible to adapt the parts to fit but it's definitely not plug-n-play.

The rest of the interior will probably work OK- not totally sure since I haven't looked into it- but I know the parts I mentioned will be a project.

Wasn't making fun of ya, man...just pointing out that it made me chuckle a bit to read that thread, then see exactly what he was talking about a few days later. I don't browse the 2nd and 1st gen sections much

I kept a lot of S4 parts in my interior, like others said mostly the pillar trims and some of the kickpanels, armrest, etc. but if you have a nice S5 interior to swap in, then GO FOR IT, the S5 interior stuff is so much nicer and all black is soooooooooooooooo nice and much more modern than the p.o.s. vinyl gray crap that was in every S4.

but you can spray the S4 interior with dye to color it black if you cant find a nice S5 to tear into.

S5 ftw!
