i know the seats will fit but im going to guess that you will need new brackets. as for the steering wheel i would have to say no. but im not sure.

 

do you know if the AP2 s2000 interior door panels will fit the FD's doors.

 

I don't mean to come across as a dick but what would make you think they even have a chance of fitting?

 

As far as the S2k door panels...those might be a stretch...however to your 1st post...Both are possible and both have been done...please refer to the link below:

I know people on these boards have done the seat conversion and I believe they had to fab the rails from the fd seats onto the rx8 seats...the steering wheel however I have no clue since it involves a sensors that could potentially deploy the airbag to the face if not properly wired and sorted...Gl and hope that helps a little

 

yeah i know its do able, i have the wiring diagram for the car. i don't link the steering wheel will be much of a problem. will the seat brackets for the rx8 work in the rx7.

 

I've seen these seats in an FD before. I must warn you, though; they look HUGE in an RX-7... out of place, but it can be done. You may have to just make some modified brackets out of metal to match your sliders to the RX-8 seat mounting bolts.

The steering wheel would be interesting to see...

Yes, you can fit the rx8 seats in an FD. No, you can't use the mounting brackets from an 8.

Rx8 seat's fit nice in the second gen!I know i mounted them on my fc 3 weeks ago !the look strait and fit perfect ^^^^^

 

i know this post is dead, just thought for future reference of anyone checking this post, confirming that the rx8 steering wheel pulled from a 04, fits perfectly into a 84 rx7. the horn needs to be played with to get it to work

again sorry for posting this, just as a reference to anyone looking this up, wheel fits in easily.
