how do i get the **** out of my second gen rx7 without breaking it (so i can put it back on)...

i have heard twist it... i told my friend i did and he said twist harder.. or twist it it right b/c its from freaking japan.

i got it off, it was a combination on holding it down with some vice grips and twisting the ****.
