That car was put together by funds from stolen credit cards. There's TONS of drama sorrounding that car and the owner. Brings shame not only to the rx-7 but the community as well.
Do a search under AA rotary and see what you can come up with.

That car was put together as a showpiece, to display to ppl the radical things re-amemiya was possible of creating, and suprise suprise it went on to WIN tokyo autosalon (2000?). Its NOT meant to be a road going (even tho it does), daily driving, sublte car, its MEANT to be over the top and gaudy.
That car is an excellent example of pioneering by one workshop. you should recognize this.

Ok I HATE when people defend that ******* PIECE OF ****. I don't care WHAT it's built for. It looks like a goddamn CIVIC with 2000 lbs of body modifications and additional bullshit. Just because its RE doesn't mean it's cool. I've seen all kinds of Hondas with equally as good work.. Big deal. And RE won the salon, not that goddamn pink turd. He could have entered a scooter and won. They love that guy. Boo.
