humm.. most of manufacture here has the big wave one. Plain wave has less 3D effect and easier to make parts.

Yeah, plain weave is used mostly in the racing world. It's cheaper and easier to mold, so most of the aero parts get made out of it. They end up painting over them anyway, so the appearance is not an issue. The 2x2 twill weave has a much nicer appearance, but isn't quite as moldable as plain weave. There are other weaves, such as a satin weave (I think Farhan's wing is made with this kind of weave), and you can even get a 4x4 twill, which doesn't look as good IMHO.

Are these just overlays that go on the existing pieces? If so, how do you attach them? double sided tape? some recommended adhesive? I just want to be clear.

Thats exactly what I was going to ask, is this kit a replacement or cover, I don't want to alter the lines of my FD with a big bump where the door latch is.

Feel free to flame, but do you ever think too much carbon fiber is a little cheezy?

I think in moderation Carbon fiber is great, but there is such thing as "too much"

carbon fiber

I was not flaming on you at all your parts look great, in fact you should contact 7parts about selling your products (i am sure Jeff will sell them for you as you can tell he loves carbon fiber).. But I don't think there is anything cheeze about his 7, it is the sickest 7 ever (and it won nationals this year too)...
