Right Hand Drive interior parts
This winter I will be converting my FD to right hand drive. I am looking for a few more interior parts to make it complete, mostly the door panels. If anyone knows of a good place to contact let me know. thanks,
Brian

I don't think you should convert it to right hand drive. I see why lots of people want Japanese parts that change the exterior design. If you got the turn signals or the front lip, or painted the lights, thats ok, cause you just want it to look better, but i dont see the need to get all the japanese 99 spec emblems and stuff if your car really isnt at 99 jdm rx7. if you really think about it will it really make your car any cooler or better? (BTW thats just my thoughts good luck witht he conversion if you go through with it!)

To each his own I suppose. Oh and about the 99 spec full conversion? I say it merely updates the looks of your car.
Check Yahoo Japan, or the far east section of the forum. I would think laujesse or Jason from JT-Imports.com could get you these parts.
Good luck.

kumatae is parting out his RHD FD right now. I just dropped the rear sub frame to tranny last weekend, and we'll get the motor this weekend.
Almost everything on the inside is for sale. I think the only interior stuff he sold so far was the rear carpet and speaker mounts. Seat's, door panels, dash,.... It's all been stripped out and most of it sitting right here in my apartment. Drop him a line man, we’ll get it to you.

I'll have to check out J-T imports. I pm'd kumatae about the parts. thanks for the help guys.
as for the 99 spec thing...I'm not trying to make my car something it isn't. I just have all the parts to do it and personally would like it.

Why????????????????????
pros:
+makes getting the mail a breeze at the end of your driveway
Con:
-have fun at ATMs, drivethroughs and being stopped by police.
-I believe the stock downpipe won't clear the steering rack. All the jdm pipes I have seen have a dent in them to clear the rack. Therefore, I believe you will have more back pressure behind your turbo.

I apreciate all the concern but I didn't ask if I should do it. I want to do it b/c i will like it done and it is not illegal to drive a right hand drive car. As for the downpipe thing, I don't have the stock downpipe, I have a single turbo kit.
