i have searched but can't find anything, is there a write up about restoring a oxidized carbon fiber hood? If there isn't can someone tell me how to? Thanks.

its as simple as sand it down smooth and re clear coat it. Make sure you use a finer grade sand paper so the sanding marks dont show after the clear has dried. Use 800 grit and wet sand it. Unless the epoxy has yellowed due to the manufacterur not using UV protective clear coat, then your straight screwed.

awesome thanks for the advice, it doesn't look to bad off so i think if i just wet sand and clear coat i should be okay. That is what i was planning on doing but i wanted to hear it from somebody else first seeing that i have never had CF before. i just bought this rx7 for 2g's out here in Iwakuni and that is one of the only problems that it has.

thanks again
