removing wax off plastic pieces

removing wax off plastic pieces

I have noticed that there is alot of dried up wax on the black plastic pieces on the head lights.. does anybody know how to get it off????

Mothers Back to Black is what I use to get wax off of matte parts (i.e.- non-shiny). There are a few similar ones on the shelf at your local auto parts store.

Believe it or not, peanut butter has been suggested as a substance that will remove this.

You can always go to a spray wash and put the spray gun close to the plastic part, I do this to get the excess wax off of plastic parts and areas you cannot reach normally...
