Removing VeilSide Spoiler..
Has anyone removed a spoiler before? I just unwrapped the stock spoiler from its packaging, which i prefer (veilside looks a bit rice..) and i want to take the old spolier off.
I noticed stickyflex attached to the bottom of the old spoiler so i assume that this is also on the bottom of the current spoiler.
Has anyone removed their spoiler, and if so can you tell me what i should watch out for? I dont particularly want to raise any paintwork..

I think that any paint underneath that rubbery crap will be ruined. Even if it's not ruined, there's no way the clear coat could survive it, IMO. I'm looking to do the same thing, but I'm waiting for a good deal on a stock VR R1 wing.

once i take it off i'll let you know.
I think the lines actually match up on both spoilers so what was once covered is still covered (with stickyflex).
I'll do it later today and see how i go. pitty i dont have my digicam on me..
Do you know if the extruding parts on the original spoiler match up with the ones on the veilside?
