removing stock fog lamps

I want to remove the stock foglamps but I was wondering what I should do with the connectors. Will disconecting the foglamps on my fd screw anything up? I know on some cars when you disconnect a blinker light or whatever the lights will blink faster or theres a light that stays on all the time after that. Also does anyone have any tips on disconnecting the foglamps. I tried but they just won't pull apart. I know they have a tab thing on them but I just can't get them to come apart. Thanks.

It's been a long time since I removed mine, but i believe I used a flat head screwdriver on the little tab on the connector. I then just tucked the connecting wires up under the front bumper in case I ever decided to add aftermarket fog lamps (which I never did). It did nothing funny to blinkers.

I was thinking about removing mine too, but I guess they kind of grew on me. Tell me how yours turn out.

well I uscrewed them from the bracket and I hung the lights down on the ground and stepped back to get a visual of what it would look like without them. I'm not sure if I like it or not. The fog lamps don't really bother me but in my opinion they don't look like they belong on a sports car. The center hole in the bumper looks so much bigger without them. My brother removed his lamps on his car (acura teg)when he put a new bumper on and drove it around like that for a couple of days. This made his blinker blink really fast. and in my opinion again I thought that would look too ricey so that's what I was worried about. I'll try again later with the connectors. I pushed the tab in and was using plyers to try and pull the connector apart but it wouldn't budge. Maybe I'm not doing it right but I've done things like this before so I kinda don't think so. I was affraid of breaking them since I'm not sure if I'll ever use them again.

I changed my bulbs to PIAA amber (fog). They also have a higher watt white bulb. They are only a slight help in fog and rain but they do help other cars see you. Anyhow, isn't there a fuse you could pull?
