removing radio/ac bezel?

Wondering if someone can give me a good tip on how to remove this panel. I can see two bolts on bottom in front of shifter and other two bolts on top left side. My question how do you get to those two bolts? Do i have to remove the panel that goes around gauge cluster first. New to RX7 and appreciate the help.

One caveat. The gauge cluster and hood have a reputation for breaking upon removal. Many people blame this on sun/heat exposure over time making it brittle. I'm certain there is some truth to this.

That being said, the primary culprit is that too many people push this piece too far BACK into the dash so the clips push past the point of no return which = breaking something. Remember this when removing AND replacing your cluster surround and hood.

Along with the bolts you mention, I do believe there are 4-8 bolts that need to be removed in order to remove the gauge cluster which in turn allows you to remove the AC Panel. Searcht the 3rd Gen Section, there are pictures!

havent decided if I want to take chance to break anything. That would suck if i did. Ill probably just refinish the console part as the other radio part doesnt look that bad. Thanks
