Removing Interior Panels???

How hard is it to remove the interior panels. My 93 panels are driving me nuts, and I want to paint them before I put on my overlay kit. I am still debating whether or not to put it on. Please tell me any tricky or frusterating parts in the process and about how long it would take to do, thanks.

Freakin' a piece of cake man.

Two screws on inside of the door (where the hinges are). One screw on the outside of the door (where the latch is). One screw underneath the removable cover in the bottom of the door handle. One screw underneath the square-ish-oval on the lower portion of the door (remove and look WAAAY in there).

One screw underneath and to the right of the window switch (gotta pop it out with a flathead screwdriver).
Remember to disconnect the wiring harness.

Remove the interior plates for the front and rear of the window (the ones directly across from the mirror and the door latch). The just pop off.

Lift up on the door. Bam...it's off.

I'd take a look at the user manual posted on www.iluvmyrx7.com for an exact description:

It's a piece o' cake, man....

I know how to remove the door panels, I was wondering on the center console, ac console, gauge console, gauge hood, driverside door bins, and passender side door handle.

Whoops. Sorry man. That was a whole lotta typing for nothing...

But I did point you in the right direction..just check through the manuals. It's pretty easy.

All cars are pretty easy to disassemble..it's just putting them back together that's a pain in the azz. That is, if you don't remember where all the screws go.

So far I've removed almost every panel on the console in my efforts to clean the car up and make her look new again(and get the crumbs and dustbunnies out).

Just take your time, and follow that manual. I'm trying to help here....
