Removing chip quard film

so my fd has about a 3 to 4 inch stip of this chip/rock quard film running down the bottom of the car and looks like it is clear coated on too so i was wondering if anyone else has this and whats the easiest way to remove it or should i just get some heavy grit sand paper and sand it down..i tried using 120 grit on a little section and its pulling some of it off but i have a little lip still. any help would be awesome thats really the only parts left on my car that i need to sand down

I used paint stripper on mine and work out well. Also used 80 grit sandpaper on the spots that wouldnt come off. just be carefull not to grind into the metal too much.

Plastic particle, glass bead, or dry ice balsting would be the best option (and probably the most expensive )

Just 80 grit it off with a DA. Get 70% of it off, then go to 180.
