No company currently makes these, thankfully.

As Colin Chapman said: "add lightness"
Translation: On a sportscar you want to remove unnecessary weight, not add.

It wasn't a "kit" it is one of RE Amemiya's creation. I think that he will only replicate it in his shop, if even that. If you learn japanese, ship him your car, spend 10 or 20 thousand on the conversion and then ship your car back to you could probably have it done. Would it really be worth it?

Here's a quick video clip borrowed from Rotary Extreme's coverage of the Tokyo Auto Show. It's hosted on yousendit, so when it's gone it's gone.

Yes its 20K I think. I cant remember but we had a lot of people asking after that autosalon. The thing is they say it need to be done in house, its made to order to make it work correctly since not ever FD is the same as we all well know.

I seriously think the word bargain was mislabelled in the dictionary.

FYI: If something costs 1/10th as much and claims the same quality it is CRAP. Bargain is code for shoddy craftsmanship. In cars it is also a close cousin to poor fitment, and fragile.

You get what you pay for.

In the future don't ask people for something ludicrous and then when people offer help tell them it is a rip-off cause you know a "mad tyte deal"

Fritz_X ---no kidding. I would like to see this great set-up he found though hehe... The ones RE had are with remote control and all, I dont know how much detail it has or if it is in fact $20K thats just off the top of my head. Plus if we got rid of these threads and people we would loose half of this forum haha
