it's really not that hard to do it yourself.

Do you know how to spray paint? Do you know how to prep your painting surface?

That's pretty much all you need to know because the rest of the "how to" refinish your plastics can be found on the forum.

I am starting to work on a sticky so you can have all the info you need on this in one location

Yeah I'll do it for you $1000 for everything, or just do it yourself like me. Check my threads.

I cant tell if d-money was being sarcastic to. My brain breaks after 2 recursions.

Also you don't know how much money static's time is worth. Maybe he's some smart rocket engineer consultant that just really enjoys redoing his own plastics (or getting high on the fumes). If he gets paid $1000 an hour at his consulting job I think he would expect just as much to do something else.

Im also interested to know if anyone on the forum is willing to redo interiors.

I think to do all pieces properly i wouldnt charge less than $500 honestly. I'm still waiting for decent weather up here in the PNW to spray mine. I'm not volunteering either for anyone that is asking, just my input on what you're looking at for the whole refinish job.

I was, and sort of serious, I believe if someones not going to attempt something relatively easy they should be charged outrageous amounts for someone else to deal with it.

ennhh i guess. I would do it for him for $200 but I have no experience. Doubt it's something that needs a degree from WYOTEC to do.

I understand its somewhat simple but you have to take in the fact that new panels cost an arm and a leg to get. I wouldnt want someone who has never re-finished plastics to take $800 worth of parts and just coat them and call it good. so I understand where the author is comin from. He's not confident to do it himself so looking for someone who has done it to take on the task. Thats why I threw my opinion on how much it'll cost out there. I think the sarcasm and comments can be kept to a minimum and more help or input can be given. I've been on a lot of car sites and this one is just riddled with sarcasm. Even worse than DSM tuners I believe.
