Well I have the paint so I guess I can buy the hood, see if I like it, and if I dont paint it. Hmmm well that solves that problem lol. Sorta hurts to paint CF i guess, but w/e.

I would say that red and a CF hood go well together. Here are some pics to help you decide. I tried to find pics of cars with similar exterior mods so you can compare better.

I noticed that you don't have any hood pins and the hood is completely flushed with the rest of the car. Is your hood the real deal or a replica?

CF is paintable, the finished surface is smooth. I think they add a clear resin to it.

Atihun. The drivers side by the headlight is not so flush. It has a lot to do with how you center the hood. As i moved it around it really changed how flush it sat.

for some reason carbon fiber, when painted, makes the paint look lighter than non cf areas. I think its because more prep is needed the resin used to make the cf is slick and is harder to get the paint to stick to. and yes i know what I'm talking about, I paint cars occasionally at the family dealership and customize arrows, and carbon fiber was used in arrows way before it was made as body kits to the public, that resin is why I have to use a special glue to attach veins.
