rear tower speakers

where th hell can i get a set that doesnt cost $100 a pop and isnt a sub. ive got all the bass i want and dont want 2 more subs in my back hatch. just looking for good mid range...anyone knows who might sell 8" mid range?

5 1/4" fit back there nicely. Im runnin two of them. Alpine Type-S. Awesome highs and midrange.

not many, if any, speaker manufacturers make a 8" mid. but if you know anything about crossover design, you might be able to put a filter on an 8" to make it perform similar to a mid. i seem to recall sony and mb quart made a shallow 8" mid, but that was a VERY long time ago and haven't been in production for about 10 years.

eh, i just got in a set of jensens, think they are made for like audio amps, oh well, ill pop em in and see how they sound. the old ones are stock...so whatever it is im sure its better than what ive got now.
