Unhappy Rear Speaker Problem

I have a 1986 Fc (GXL). I have installed new speakers about a year and a half ago and am proud of them. One day I was going down the road and the left rear speaker started buzzing. I thought I blew it but I was wrong. I looked over the speaker trying to find something wrong with it but I couldnt. I decided to see if the speaker was the problem by taking the factory speaker and trying it. It buzzed as well. I just left the speaker disconnected and drove around for about 2 weeks until I tried to takle the problem again. But the funny thing was when I connected it the speaker was fine. No buzz nothing. So I reinstalled it and drove around happy for about a week. I turned the car on one day and the buzz was back. By this time I thought my car was messing with me. THis time i took out the opposite speaker and switched them. The side that buzzed still buzzed and the other side was fine. Does anyone have any idea what I can do. Is it the amp? Is it my head? Does my car hate me? PLEASE HELP!

Nope head unit is brand new....how can the head unit cause buzzing in the speaker. I figured that it was in the wiring somewhere. I am unsure if the rear speakers have built in amps and that was causing the problem?

NO it is a Kenwood. I can find specs for it. I really doubt that the head unit is causing the problem.

try reversing the chanells at the head unit. if the buzzing moves it is the head unit. if it stays the same I would guess it is the wireing because I doubt you are using the factory amps.
