re-amemiya N-1 front bumper

anyone had any troble with the re-amemiya N-1 bumper, I like it the only thing is im afraid of it being fiberglass it will break, but im being told that japan makes their bumbers alot bettter than we do.

any comments thanks

well...

it won't break if you don't hit anything!

i hear replica quality is bad, in fact i don't even think the replica is being made anymore. if you were to buy the real one...wow. thats a lot of money (i think)

What do you mean by trouble with the Amemiya fascia? If you drive into a wall yes, it will break. If you hit it with a mallet, yes, it will break. Any type of "rough" contact will break almost any type of fiberglass. As for its durability, its top notch. I haven't had any issues with it.

Also, its not that Japan makes better body pieces than we do, its *some* shops in Japan make a better product. On the same token tho, *some* shops here stateside make a better product than JDM-land. It all depends on what you are looking for.

I've got the RE N1 bumper from Chuck, but he told me he didn't produce them. He got them from somewhere else.

I had some fitment issues with mine, but overall it's a pretty solid piece.
