which radar is a good? for under $300

which radar is a good? for under $300

Hey I am not to good with this thing but I have don't some research and made my mind witht he Beltronics Rx55 or Rx65 which both is the same, but for $325 is there a better unit? any help is helpful.

Khris, get a V1.

Theres lots of used ones on ebay for about or even less than 300.

Yeah, not something to cheap out on. Just go for the V1.

Passport 8500 X50 is also very good. There always seems to be a huge debate on which one is better, X50 or V1. It just comes down to whether you want the arrows or not. X50 has a display mode which shows multiple signals and bands AND the strength of EACH signal. I really like it but the arrows of V1 is also very nice.

They are all a complete waste of money. No cop uses radar anymore, its all laser. And even jammers and blockers don't work when your really close. The best advice is to turn up the boost.! ha h a

It depends on where you live. That may be the case for your area, but I still see a lot of radar useage where I am and whenever I drive between Ohio and Virginia.

i doubt laser technology is pervasive throughout the US yet. if you are planning to spend 300 bucks, might as well dish out the extra 50-100 to get the v1 or passport
