I don't like many of the sleek kits, but that's just personal preference I guess.

 

Barf. They're basically just CF East Bears. The most hideous light kit on the planet. They're not even "sleek" they stick up permanently.

 

agree, imo the ugliest "sleek" kit ever made..

 

1+ If you have ever seen this type of kit installed on a car it just does not look good at all. ...

 

I've seen the plastic chinese knockoffs on ebay for $150. I don't recall East Bear making them in carbon. I thought of getting the plastic ones to try if I could install HID's just because they were cheap housings but i'm not shure how happy I would be with them looking like 4 bulging frog eyes above the hood.

 

That's exactly what I think of when I see them, frog eyes.

I think you would have to see them in person before you can judge them. The C-West kit looks kinda weird in pictures but I think it looks great in person. THe only problem is the lights are not usefull. The carbon version of these lights are extremely expensive at almost 4x the price of the plastic ones. If anyone that has them can measure the hole diamter and post, please do so. It may be possible to fit 50mm HID/Zenon Hella driving and high beam lights instead.

 

Those protrude out more then the East Bear light kit. Heres a pic of my FD with the East Bear kit, lighting is alot better especially with HIDs.

 

I have a pair that I got from Race-on, not the east bears, but the other sleek ones. Here is what I thought

1. The quality is so-so, it fits ok I suppose.
2. It fit well enough and looked good enough to make Dave from KDR think they were authentic C-West.
3. Price is pretty much worth the lesser quality
4. Worst customer service in the history of all big businesses.

 

Yep, it's a shame they are no longer a registered ebay seller, I was excited to leave my first negative feedback! Spend a little more for a quality product sold by a quality company.

 

I think they look absolutely horrible, totally kill the sexy looks of the FD. My opinion, no offense to those running them
