thats the c-west kit, i wouldnt go w/ a knock-off version of it, i've had to many negatives on it.. i'd just go w/ a simple kit, or the real c-west kit, go to cwestusa.com and check it out, its a N1 bumper.

Raceonusa < Shine AutoProject, IMO. Shine's got a great rep for quality around here.

I bet they are using Chuck's (Rotary Extreme) mold again. A while ago they were until Chuck called them and told them to stop.

Its the same as RE's 99 plateless fitment is good except for the sunken area around the passenger side headlight. Since its urethane there's not much you can do to fix that. I'm trying to get shine to produce one that fits better and uses their flexible material. The 99 bumper gets a flexible lip anyway so I don't see why a urethane bumper is needed anyway.

I had a buddy who bought that bumper. It took alot of work to fit that bumper. What you might save from buying that bumper from there you will spend at least double trying to fit that bumper. I would strongly suggest you go with a quality replica from Shine Auto. From what I've seen they put out quality pieces.

my experience with raconusa... (BAD)

The race-on bumper is the same one RE sold. The mold and molder are the one and the same. So the RE quality or that there of is the same as this race-on bumper. I have the bumper. Yes it takes time to fit it. Also Shine does not currently make a no plate 99 bumper only Pettit does. I'm trying to get interest to get Shine to produce one though.
Jeez I hate people that speak up with mis information or non-first hand advice.

Nah, no first hand experience here. I've had both this plateless 99 and their gtc replica, both are subpar quality. The 99 fit ok but sags like a **** in the sun, the gtc I won't even get into. Their customer service dept (Hugo) on how to fix the fact that the bumper does not follow the hood curve "you need to go to home depot and buy a bucket of bondo".

fritts, if you're referring to me, I don't need 1st hand experience to know that Shine makes higher-quality parts that raceonusa. It's pretty common knowledge.
Also...Raceonusa's customer support is a joke. Be really careful on what you buy from there. After the have your $$$....they bascially are ****** about any problems that you may have with their products.
You do understand from my post raceonusa did not make the part a secondary molder made the part the same one and mold that RE sold from. I have the bumper it is the the RE bumper. Don't tell me its raceonusa quality its just being sold through them. Its urethane not fiberglass so not everyone can make a mold for it.

I understand that (although I'm finding it hard to believe that RE Amemiya shares molds with RaceOn), but I'm talking about more than just that one bumper.
I mean in general, if you're looking for bodykits, Shine makes higher quality parts than Raceon, am I rite?

I don't believe RE let them use the mold in fact they were rather upset when I found out that race-on was using RE's mold and mold shop. At a cost that was much less, I bought mine 2 years ago at around ~290 shipped to my house. I understand what you say when your talking about fiberglass, urethane is a whole other story, requires much more expense in mold and molding process. Also by RE I mean Rotary Extreme.
