quote for reupholstering two seats

Damn i just got quoted $1000 to reupholster both my TurboII seats. Kind of ridiculous yeah? I mean, i could go buy some brand new Super kick *** seats for just a lil more.

He said this included refoaming the seats. The drivers side seat needs it, but the passenger side seat is awesome. But they are both blue, and i want black cloth.

What have you guys paid? anything reasonable?

I got a quote for 1200 to reupholster my two front seats in custom leather not too long ago, from a shop who has a reputation for nothing less than perfection.. ever.

Take that for what its worth, you get what you pay for generally with upholstery people, if you have the option just order from like katzkin or leatherseats.

Just get some new leather from www.leatherseats.com. You remove the current material on your seats and then slip on their presewn leather. They run around $500 or so.

if you want the seats to hold your *** in place then you need suede centers....

Leatherseats.com makes great covers/replacements. I have them in my FD project. black leather outers with suede center pieces and grey double stitching. Mmmmmmmmmmmm Around $550
