You can still buy the rails new from Mazda. I am trying to stomach buying just the tilting mechanism for $750/ea plus shipping from Japan to bolt to stock rails... My RZ seats did not come with factory rails, instead they came with an aftermarket non tilt rail from SakeBomb Garage.

Wow thats incredible, you may very well be right about my rails being aftermarket - when i bought them from japan the seller indicated that they were OEM RZ rails, but its just his word against my lack of knowledge.

what sucks is theres no way to check availability
the websites allow you to add it in cart and even pay right away with money taken out but most of the time when its NLA itll never show up until you reach out and be like...wtf wheres my stuff ...and than a lengthy process of refund etcetc
and so far from the lack of information .. no one has tried or gotten it from amayama

to also add on to the previous Pages notes, since the tilting mechanism is a direct bolt-on to the 93 stock rails does that mean the stock rails out of a 93 can be direct bolt-on to the seats without the tilting mechanism? Thus just having the regular slide function and the seats will be able to bolts in just like normal and have OEM fitment?

You dont have to pay in advance at Amayama. If its an item you are unsire of, you can have them check it before you pay.
