QUICK HELP with subwoofer set up

I got an alpine 800w 4-channel amp that has 2 100w pioneer speakers,2 270wsony xplod speakers and im about to hook up my 800w sony xplod 10" sub to it. Im not to smart with eletronics and wanted to know if i can bridge it to the amp with the speakers and have nothings bad happen. Also just for now i wanted to cut a hole in one of the storage bin lids and just screw it in for now. Will this sound ok? or is it just gonna vibrate and sound shitty? does anyone have some interesting but easy ideas that i can do with my sub?

you are already using 4 channels, the 2 pioneer speakers are 2 channels and the 2 song speakers are 2 channels. You would need a 5 channel amp to power both the front speaker back speaker and sub.

I thought i can bridge it to the front speaker wires going into the amp since it has the word bridge above it with the + and - like its ment for a sub? Am I correct or just dont know what Im talking about? Also the power wire for the amp has a fuse for it like the ones on the drivers side floor, What amp fuse do i need for this?

i think you would probably be beter off getting an amp dedicated to just your subwoofer. It will probably sound better, and i tihnk the four channel amps are just for speakers, rather than subs. plus if you get a new amp you can just get a mono amp and it will provide a lot more power.

You can not run in stereo mode and bridged mode at the same time. Does your amp have built in x overs? If so, you could run your rear channels at 2 ohms (both sets of speakers on the 2 channels, then run the sub in bridged mode off the fronts.

channel 1
Channel 2 Bridged for sub
Channel 3 Sony's
Channel 4 Pioneer's
If you have the sony's in the front and the pioneers in the rear you will have to set it up as left and right. Left front Sony and left rear Pioneer and rigth front sony and right rear pioneer.

Hope it makes sence. Best to just get a sub amp!

If you are already running speakers on each channel you cannot, I repeat cannot also run a sub on them! Oh wait you can, but you will not have an amp left.
