Well my FD is currenty getting
a Mazdaspeed GTC body kit mounted
and painted.

well in anticipation of getting my car redone.
I ordered the Efini Front emblems, wanted
the Rears but were out of stock, and the
Efini RX7 Sticker.

Well to my suprise the Emblem isn't just a STICK on
It actually has 3 prongs on it.

So my questionsare.. For you guys that use the
efini emblems with aftermarket body kits.
1. Did you drill holes in your new bumper and paint
to install the emblems?? Or did you cut/sand the
prongs down and used some kind of STICKY stuff??
If you used sticky stuff, what you use??

2. Are there any differnce in the FRONT and rear
Efini emblems?? the RX7store was out of stock of
the rear ones. Anyone use the Front on the rear??

3. If you can, can you post pics of the Front and rear
efini emblems on your car?? and if you got a rear pic
with the emblem and the RX7 EFINI sticker on.. Would
be great.

rear has two prongs instead of three.

 

So they are the Same size?

 

if you decide to cut off the prongs, you can use double sided tape to stick it on, that is how I have it on my car and have no problems what so ever. you can buy it at a hobby shop..

 

Thts what i think I may do.
I kinda have a problem with drilling holes in

stuck on?? No problems with the SUN/Heat/Rain/Cold?

it has been stuck on there for about 7 months now and I wash the car about twice a month and it is still stuck on there good, with the weather here in norcal one day hot next day cold still on there

I had my efini emblems on for two years till they got stolen, no problems with fading or coming loose (3m dbl sided tape)

 

if the double sided tape didn't seem to be so effective for everyone here, i would say use hot glue and silicone
that's what we use at work to get **** to stick, if we don't want it coming off any time soon

btw, the front & rear emblems are curved differently. If you use the wrong one, it's kinda obvious. Ask me how I know

oh well let me Trash that " buy a front emblem for the
rear " idea..

anyone know who has the rear efini emblem in stock??

I got mine from rx7store I just had to wait about a month for the rear to come in..
