Question about speaker wiring.

I have the interior of my car completely disassembled and would like to get all the wires run before i put everything back together. Im very new to car audio so if someone could explain to me what wires im going to need to have in place i would appreciate it.

Component speakers up front and a single sub in the rear with an aftermarket amp in the trunk for the components/sub.

Thanks

stock wiring harness should be on drivers side along with..
minimum

1 power wire
1 remote wire

optional,
2 extra remote wires ( 4 channel, fans lights etc etc)
i put power trunk actuators in, maybe a wire for that too
just think of all future projects your trunk will see and go from there...
if you don't use multiple colors then label them like 1 through 4 or however many ya put in just so you know

also i recomend a kill switch for the subs, i call this cop mode.. lol

run remote wire from head unit to toggle switch
run remote wire from toggle switch to amp remote turn on

now you control the bass with the flip of a switch and if you don't wanna thump you flip her off..

PASSENGER SIDE

for SUB ONLY
1 set RCAs...
2 sets speark wire from head unit to speaker towers (if you are replacing stock wiring)

for SUB AMP AND 4 channel
4 pairs speaker wire
3 sets RCA jacks

i would get 2 wiring harness kits from best buy if you go with a 4 channel, you hook the pairs of speaker wire up to the harness at the radio side and up to the amp in the rear..
i do this b/c if my amp fries i can just pull the radio and swap plugs in about 10 min vice spilicing and rewiring stuff
