question about body kits
I'm looking at possibly piecing together parts from different kits cause I'll like the front end on one and not the sides or whatever. I'm not trying to get all crazy or rice just so you all know. Anyway, my question is this...do different kits sit lower than others? For examply, does brand X front end sit lower when installed than brand Y does when installed, or are most kits the same size, does anyone know? I look at different kits and look at putting one front end with another's side skirts and I'm wondering if the front will be lower than the sides or vice versa. I'd like to get this right the first time.

Yeah, it's the main thing I'm looking at, other than if the front and sides will flow well together. I'm thinking about getting either a Wise Sports or Sanai front, and either Burnout or Kenstyle sides. My mind changes all the time but for right now I'm thinking about going with Sanai front and Burnout sides cause I think it would look pretty good together, but I just love the Wise Sports front so much. It looks like the Wise Sports front sits pretty low and I'm not sure about the burnout sides, I'm thinking they might sit about the same height. I was going to get Sexy Style sides but I'm not sure they look as good with 18s as they do with 19s, like they are too big or something. Anyway, thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it. I thought I might just be going bonkers from looking so much but now I know it's true, thanks again.
after doing some more research, what you're gonna notice is that a lot companies will have a variation of other companies parts. example: the sexy style kit (which i have and just sold) sides resembles that of the R-Magic and similar to Mazdaspeed GTC, the front resembles Cwest N1. Kenstyle Burn out front also looks like another R-Magic front. These are a few examples...Personally- I'll leave the trouble of deciding what works with what to the company and just get a complete kit from whomever...it'll save you some headaches, but that's just my opinion and I've gone through way too many facelifts to deal with it.

Different peice work if you plan them out and don't get nutty..... I've got Re Amemiya N1 bumper/hood/headlights, feed front fenders, feed rear quarters, carbon fiber hatch and lexan window. I think everything flows pretty well. My widebody is completely molded so that cleans the lines up tremendously.

eastondle- I have thought a few times about getting a whole kit but there's always something about each kit that I don't like, so that's why I was thinking about piecing one together. I might end up doing it anyway if I can find one that I really like all the pieces.
FDnewbie- sounds good, I'm glad it's working for you. I'm trying to picture it all. The only thing I'm not sure about is the old C-west rear, I'm not sure which one is the one you're talking about.
LUPE- your car looks really good. I like all the pieces but I don't think I've seen the Feed rear quarters. I thought the front fenders were a little wider but I didn't know they made rear ones too, you got another pic of your car?
